1. Figure out who you are marketing to
This is SO important to get understood because nothing else matters if you don’t.
If you’re not speaking to your one perfect prospect, that one ideal customer or distributor that you want to attract to yourself, you will be speaking to a void, and wasting your time.
So here is a task...can you become your perfect prospect, customer or distributor?
Get inside their bodies and become who they are...
...what they do.
What are they afraid of?
If you can really get good at this, you can nail your marketing message.
Then, alternatively, what do they dream about getting and doing?
It is like the carrot/stick metaphor...
...combination of punishment and reward to induce a desired behaviour.
Be firm enough with presenting the stick part (their fears, frustrations, pains) but yet kind enough with presenting the carrot part (their dreams, gains, desires).
If you can do that, you can move them towards making a decision, which is ultimately investing in you and your product, service, or opportunity.
So get clear on that.

2. Learn the skill sets of online marketing
That was a big thing for me when I started.
